Remembering Pearl Harbor at The Cedars

Today Marks the 80th Anniversary of the attack on Pearl harbor. On December 7, 1941, a surprise arial attack by the Japanese on Hawaii killed 2,403 Americans, destroyed and severely damaged battleships and hundreds of aircrafts. The next day the United States declared war.

For most older American’s this day is like September 11th. A day we were humbled but also a day we stood strong and united. It’s also a day we give thanks to all the men and woman who have served our country fending our freedom. Will never forget those that perished in Pearl Harbor defending our freedom. In their honor we acknowledge them today.
