Cedar Crest has strategically evolved from a traditional long-term care facility opened over 30 years ago to today's fast-paced, transitional care "subacute" facility. Cedar Crest is the first choice for subacute and rehabilitation care by healthcare professionals, as well as patients and families who we have served.

The state-of-the-art 156-bed Cedar Crest is Rhode Island's largest independently owned and operated subacute and rehabilitation center. Our independent status allows us to work with all hospitals and physicians, making us a valuable resource for nearly everyone.

Cedar Crest admits and discharges over 1000 patients each year, averaging 80-100 admissions per month. More than half of our patients return home within weeks.
